CM wondered why BJP was making hue and cry on inducting Azharuddin as minister
Hyderabad, October 31: Branding the BRS and BJP are maintaining ‘ fevicol bond’, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy fired a salvo at former Chief Minister and BRS head K Chandrashekhar Rao, party working President KT Rama Rao and union minister G Kishan Reddy over spreading canards against the People’s Government and creating hurdles to the development of the state.
Launching a high octane by election campaign in Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency amid cheering big gathering of the locals at a corner meeting, the Chief minister alleged that it was the BRS fielded candidate in the by elections necessitated after the untimely death of famous leader P Janardhan Reddy despite the opposition parties BJP and TDP were ready to support the leader’s family member for unanimous election. “Wasn’t it KCR who fielded PJR from TRS? Wasn’t he who opened the curtain on this evil tradition?” Now the BRS leaders are shedding crocodile tears, the CM charged.
CM Revanth Reddy took a swipe at union minister G Kishan Reddy for obstructing the Musi project and the expansion of the Metro rail project. The BJP leaders were maintaining secret relations with BRS and the BJP’s victory in 8 Lok Sabha seats was evidence for it. Did two union ministers bring any funds to the state? They are shamelessly saying that they will carpet bomb Jubilee Hills. The BJP MPs are roaming around Jubilee hills without asking for funds from Prime minister Modi, the CM castigated.
Stating that the congress has taken up huge development projects at the cost of Rs 4000 crore in Secunderabad cantonment after the congress won by election, the Chief minister appealed to the Jubilee Hills voters to support congress candidate Naveen Yadav who will also mention your problems in the assembly. “It is high time for development of the constituency and not the sentiment. There are ups and downs in politics. It will be a historic mistake if our person is not voted to win the by election”.
The chief minister lambasted KTR for not taking care of the jubilee hills during his tenure as the Municipal Administration and Urban development minister for 10 years. The then rulers looted the state and never visited jubilee hills to address the public grievances. People should take a call and decide who are rowdies. BRS leaders promoted drug culture and Naveen Yadav always stood by the poor in the constituency, the CM noted.

The Chief minister also questioned BJP for raising objections on inducting congress leader Mohd Azharuddin as minister in his cabinet. Why is the BJP so upset after Azharuddin is given a ministerial post? the CM said that he will take the responsibility of the development of jubilee hills with the support of Azharuddin and Naveen Yadav soon after the by elections.
CM Revanth Reddy also warned that all schemes like the fine rice scheme, free bus for women, ration cards, 200 units of free power supply and other schemes will be stopped if the BRS wins the elections. The CM also criticized KTR and Harish Rao for provoking auto drivers.
