Hyderabad, November 22: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recalled heroic services rendered by Telangana popular writers, poets and artists in revolting against dictatorial and hegemonic forces. The Chief Minister applauded popular writer and poet Andesri’s active role during the Telangana struggle and also against oppression by the previous BRS government.
Participating in the memorial meeting of Andesri in Hyderabad today, the CM said that Andesri is his beloved friend and close to his heart. The Telangana writer showed his fighting spirit when the autocratic forces suppressed the Telangana society.
Famous writer Bandi Yadagiri’s popular song ” Bandenaka Bandi Katti ” inspired the entire Telangana people against the Nizam tyranny and dethroned the autocratic rulers. Gaddar, Guda Anjanna, Andesri, Goreti Venkanna laid the foundation to the second phase Telangana movement and fought against anti-Telangana forces.
Announcing that he will extend all kinds of help to Andesri family, the CM said that the government already announced government job to the kin of Andesri family, a Memorial and make available Andesri’s popular book ” Nippulavagu” in all libraries. ” Andesri will remain like a Kohinoor diamond in the history of Telangana”.
The most popular Ande Sri’s song – Jaya Jaya He Telangana is a big inspiration to the entire Telangana people. Everyone considered the song Jaya Jaya He Telangana as the official song of the state. The previous rulers suppressed the jaya jaya he Telangana song. The BRS rulers were under the impression that power is immortal. ” They conspired to prevent the poets from singing and artists who filled Telangana with inspiration”.
Now , four crore Telangana people are singing the song Jaya Jaya He Telangana every day, the CM said ” We have given 300 yards of land to 9 poets who played a key role in the Telangana movement.We will build a house for them in Bharat Future City ‘.
The Chief Minister also said that Telangana is the first state to implement the SC categorization in the country. The SC categorization provided opportunity to Dalits to become doctors. Four dalit ministers were also inducted in the state cabinet.
