The Book is about a seasoned bureaucrat’s depiction of events focussing on bureaucracy through his lens of imagination – presented through witty Cartoons. The Cartoonist, Mr. B.P. Acharya IAS Retd., with deep understanding of the bureaucratic quagmire, presents this eye-catching, not-to-be-missed compilation. “A picture is worth a thousand words”.
The book is very aptly titled, “Obtuse Angle” – implying a different way of looking at things with humour and with no malice intended. It is a sheer delight to open the book and get hooked on 200 creations till you find the back cover. The Hon’ble Governor of Telangana. Mr. Jishnu Dev Varma formally released ‘the treat to read’ Book on 21st January, 2025. I overheard a comment from the Author, “The Conduct Rules of the Service (IAS) no longer apply to me now.” You are free to decipher the meaning.
