Play promotes the healthy development of kids and children. Given the competitive nature of the world today, more and more children are being raised in learning environments that stifle their love of play and instead pressure them to grow up much too quickly. But play-driven education leads to many positive outcomes. Most parents think that kids only learn to play in a play school, but that is not true; many things can be learned there. They introduce games and activities that allow kids to learn. Every activity has an educational aim. That means they’re not just playing; they’re learning something. The activities help build skills that deepen their understanding of the world, how things work, who they are, and how they should treat other people. Play schools teach children to recognize what they own. They realize their bag and pencil, their lunchbox. They understand the concept that they need to take care of what belongs to them. And that they need to start looking after themselves. Moreover, play school helps to teach them to respect routine.

One of the renowned play schools in the Kishmatpur area of Hyderabad city is EuroKids, which helps to improve kids’ communication skills and fosters a positive attitude.
This article presents the sports activities for kids aged between two and six years at EuroKids School, Kismatpur, held on November 15, 2025. EuroKids School was established at Kismatpur, Hyderabad, in early 2025 with 70 lively kids. Their ages range from 2 to 6 years, and they are accommodated in Play School, Nursery, Euro Junior, and Euro Senior classes. A team of educated ladies manages the school. There are many positive aspects to this school, including a kid-friendly atmosphere, safety, hygiene, engaging play activities, trained and experienced staff, a mindful learning approach, and more.
In addition to the management committee, eight teachers and five support staff members are employed, all of whom are female. This school truly embodies women’s empowerment. The school authority initiated “Health is Wealth and Sports Day” on November 15, 2025. In the programme, Prof. Shankar Chatterjee, former professor and head (CPME), NIRDPR (Government of India), was invited as the chief guest. He motivated the kids and highlighted the importance of health and sports. During his college days, Prof. Chatterjee played state-level hockey and also appeared in a Telugu film, which he mentioned to inspire the kids in a positive way.

In the programme, there were various sports activities in which kids enthusiastically participated. All the events were planned methodically and strategically according to the kids’ ages. It is delightful to see that kids aged two to six years participated energetically in the sports events. Additionally, organisers organised sports events for parents (mothers and fathers), and they joined in cheerfully. Sports like tying one foot to the other (mother & father), carrying kids by father/mother, walking, and returning were the features of sports. All events, ranging from two years old (for children) to 40 years old (for parents), were filled with entertainment.
