Vijayawada, July 28: Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur was sworn in as Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram here on Friday.


Governor S. Abdul Nazeer administered the oath of office to Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other dignitaries attended the programme.


After oath taking ceremony, Chief Minister felicitated the Chief Justice with shawl and presented a bouquet.
They later attended high tea along with the Governor.


Deputy Chief Minister (PR & RD) B. Muthyala Naidu, Home Minister T. Vanitha, Irrigation Minister A. Rambabu, Legislative Council Chairman K. Moshen Raju, Deputy Chairperson Zakia Khanam, Chief Secretary Dr KS Jawahar Reddy,

DGP KV Rajendranath Reddy, High Court judges, senior lawyers, officials and people’s representatives attended the programme.
