Davos, January 22: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy led ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation concluded their visit to Davos, Switzerland successfully. During the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting, the Telangana Rising Delegation held fruitful discussions with global business leaders and entered MOUs attracting huge investments in the Telangana state.
The State Government has already secured a whooping Rs 5.75 lakh crore at the recently held Global Summit in Hyderabad. Continuing attracting global investments, the Telangana state also achieved desired objectives at the three-day World Economic Forum summit.
Apart from attracting huge investments, the State government’s one of the main objectives of showcasing ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ vision to the world was also fulfilled at the WEF -2026.
During the three-day visit, the Telangana delegation entered agreements to set up Global Capability Centers, Data Centers, Clean and Green Energy and in the manufacturing sector. Several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were also signed for promoting AI, sustainability and skill development programmes.
During participating in the important sessions, CM Revanth Reddy drew the business world’s attention through a proposal to hold a World Economic Forum follow-up event in Hyderabad which also received a positive response from the participants . The Chief Minister participated in 12 one-on-one meetings with blue chip companies and industry leaders in the three day event.
After completing the scheduled meetings and engagements with investors at Davos, the Chief Minister departed for Zurich from where the CM will fly to America. Ministers D. Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy returned to India from Davos.
