MULUGU, February 08: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy chastised BRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao for exploiting the power and amassed ill-gotten wealth during 10-year rule in the Telangana state. The BRS stands for ” Blackmail Rajakiya Samithi”, the Chief Minister said the phone tapping incidents in the KCR government are enough to prove how the BRS leadership blackmailed others for money and grabbed lands.
Addressing a mammoth public meeting in Mulugu district today, the CM said that KCR family blackmailed businessmen.
BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy himself said that the phones of businessmen were tapped and listened to their conversations. The businessmen were forced to transfer their properties.
BRS leaders blackmailed people through telephone tapping and looted hundreds of crores. Rs 1500 crores in the BRS party account was deposited through unethical practices. The BRS leaders committed unpardonable sins and are now facing consequences.
The Chief Minister came down heavily on the union government for not ordering the CBI probe into Kaleshwaram and formula e race scams. The Chief Minister questioned union minister G Kishan Reddy for not responding to the demand for a probe. ” Kishan Reddy rechristened his name as Kishan Rao and became the adopted son of KCR”.
The CM criticized the centre for registering CBI and ED cases against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Who is stopping the centre from ordering a CBI probe in Kaleshwaram scam? Is Kishan Reddy not protecting KTR in the Formula E race case?. The Chief Minister alleged that Kishan Reddy is rescuing BRS leaders KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao by maintaining a strong bond. We will call Kishan Reddy as Kishan Rao until the BRS leaders are arrested.
Further, CM Revanth Reddy said that BRS leaders did not spare opposition leaders, journalists, judges, or film stars with phone tapping. They also listened to conversations between husbands and wives.
The Chief Minister took strong exception to the false propaganda by BRS on reorganization of districts. False propaganda is being spread that Bhupalpally district will be abolished. The government is not considering abolishing any district or creating a new district in the state. We will consider only after seeking everyone’s opinions on district reorganization and discussing it in the Assembly. The CM cautioned people not to fall into the opposition party’s conspiracy politics for political gains. The Bhupalpally district will remain unchanged.
CM Revanth Reddy remembered the sacrifices of thousands of Singareni workers during the Telangana Movement. It was NTR who created Bhupalpally as a mandal headquarters and laid the foundation stone for coal mining.
The undivided Warangal district has a glorious history. Former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao also hailed from this region. Students of Kakatiya and Osmania Universities led the way in both the first and second Telangana movements. Professor Jayashankar, who stood at the forefront in achieving Telangana, was also the son of this region.
The CM rebutted BRS allegations and announced that the Medical unfit board for Singareni workers would be removed. Recruitment on compassionate grounds in Singareni will continue and the government will also resolve the issue of the 217 dismissed workers.
Appealing to people to vote for Congress in the municipal elections, the Chief Minister said that KCR was Chief Minister for 10 years and Modi has been the Prime Minister since 2014.If you vote for Congress, your problems will be solved. KCR will not give funds as he is already taking rest in the farm house. Modi has never visited Bhupalpally. The CM warned people not to vote BRS and BJP which are like two sides of the same coin. The two parties are trying to defeat the Congress.
The CM mentioned the state government sanctioned ₹17,442 crores for municipalities and corporations in Telangana. ₹6,116 crores allocated for the municipalities in the erstwhile Warangal district. ₹92 crores were sanctioned for Bhupalpally municipality. As MA and UD minister, KTR did nothing for urban development, the CM charged.
CM Revanth Reddy also nailed KCR for not fulfilling the promise of providing double-bedroom houses to the poor.
KCR built a farmhouse in Erravally on a thousand acres. KTR, Harish Rao, Kavitha, and Santosh Rao built farmhouses in Janwada on 100 acres.
KCR’s classmate Jahangir has not received anything so far. KCR’s family also acquired TV channels, newspapers, and businesses worth thousands of crores of rupees, but the poor did not get double-bedroom houses. If KCR had built 200,000 houses a year, he would have had the opportunity to build 2 million houses in ten years.
The CM said that the government was constructing and providing 3,500 Indiramma houses in each constituency. We are building 450,000 houses with an outlay of ₹22,500 crores. We will sanction the second phase of Indiramma houses in the upcoming budget and enhance the self-respect of the poor.
CM Revanth Reddy highlighted the government’s plan to conduct the Godavari Pushkaralu magnificently. We constructed the Medaram temple that will be remembered for 1000 and organized the Sammakka Saralamma Jathara splendidly. Efforts are being made to supply water from the Jampanna stream to Ramappa lake. The CM commended ministers Konda Surekha and Seethakka for organizing Medaram Jathara successfully. During the Godavari Pushkaralu -2027, we will develop the area from Basara to Bhadrachalam as a tourist destination, spending Rs 3,000 to 4,000 crores. We will transform the Godavari river basin into a tourist area.
Concluding his speech, the CM welcomed people for calling him in their respective caste names. He is also delighted that women group members are wearing quality sarees distributed by the government recently.
