Hyderabad, March 29: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has drawn a comprehensive Master Plan for the successful conduct of Godavari Pushkaralu next year. A Technical Engineers committee has been constituted to develop Pushkar Ghats.

At a review of the development of major temples and Pushkar ghats alongside river Godavari on Basara and Bhadrachalam stretch, the Chief Minister set June 2027 for the completion of all works. During the meeting, the officials made a power point presentation regarding the plans formulated for Godavari Pushkaralu.

CM Revanth Reddy directed the officials to conduct a field visit and submit its report within 15 to 20 days. Further, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to examine the report and forward it along with comprehensive cost estimates to the Cabinet Sub-committee and the Cabinet would take the final decision . The Chief Minister also ordered the officials to ensure the completion of both permanent and temporary works as per the schedule.

As part of the Pushkaram arrangements, special measures will be taken for the expansion of ghats at major temples and key tourist destinations.

The CM also reviewed the development of the road network and connectivity between temples. The officials briefed the Chief Minister about the plans for the development and expansion of the Basara Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple.
