CM covers major issues in Spandana
Collectors and Sps attend the video conference

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held Spandana video conference with District Collectors and SPs and discussed a wide range of issues including PRC, Covid, MIG layouts, Spandana redressals, Housing and Sustainable Development Goals.
During the meeting held here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister directed the officials to focus on completing the compassionate appointments to the dependents of frontline workers who succumbed to to Covid. He instructed the authorities to complete the process by June 30 without any delay and also told to focus on facilitating these jobs by making use of village and ward secretariats. allocate land to eligible employees
In regard to MIG layouts, the Chief Minister directed the officials to allocate land to every eligible employee in the reserved 10 per cent space along with 20 percent rebate. He said that employees seeking plots should apply by March 5 and get registered, as it will showcase the true demand and further can go with land acquisitions. Speaking on the probation of village /ward secretariat employees, he stated that probation must be declared by June 30, and all the employees must receive new appointment letters by July 1. He ordered the completion of the probation examinations for the remaining 25 percent employees at the earliest.
Be on high alert with the Omicron
Discussing the Covid measures, the Chief Minister instructed them to be on high alert with the Omicron variant, especially for the next two weeks. He directed the authorities to bring down the positivity rate and achieve 100 per cent single-dose vaccination across the State. Also, he directed the officials to ensure all Covid protocols are being followed, and told them to continue the fever surveys. He ordered the district collectors to review the 104 call center, ensuring a quick response is given to the callers and build it as One-Stop Solution for all Covid queries.


Emphasized on filling vacant posts
Further, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy emphasized on filling all the vacant posts in all government hospitals right from village clinics to super speciality hospitals and directed them to complete all the appointments by the end of February. He stated that every hospital should have adequate doctors, paramedics, nurses and other staff and stressed that he would hold Collectors and Health Department accountable if there exists any vacancies from March 1.
Reviewing the Housing scheme, the Chief Minister directed the authorities to ensure 100 percent grounding of all the 15.60 lakh houses that are being constructed in the first phase by March 31. He told them to focus on resolving the court cases and assist the beneficiaries in availing bank loans for their houses and instructed the Collectors, JCs, Municipal Commissioners to conduct periodical inspections.
Controlling construction a necessity
The Chief Minister emphasized controlling the construction costs by setting up brick manufacturing units within the layouts to reduce the transportation charges, and by procuring cement and steel at subsidy prices. He ordered the officials to sanction house sites to all the eligible people within 90 days of applying. Further, he ordered the officials to focus on OTS Scheme by organising special camps for handing over the registration documents to the beneficiaries.


Spandana portal is updated
Speaking on Spandana grievances, the Chief Minister said Spandana portal is updated, the petitions can now be tracked and added that district collectors should review on progress of spandana petitions twice a week. He said the collectors should focus on pending petitions and check why they are pending for more than stipulated time and added to solve the petitions effectively. The Chief Minister said 11 per cent of the petitions are repeated and directed the collectors to focus on why the petitioners are not satisfied for the first time. He said district collectors should visit RDO offices thrice a month and review with officials on issues related to revenue, lands, development activities and Village/ Ward secretariats.
Focus on 43 SDG indicators
On Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the Chief Minister directed the district collectors to focus on 43 indicators of SDG and complete targets in those sectors. He said effective implementation of Navaratnalu and other welfare schemes will help to improve SDG indicators. He instructed the district collectors to focus on sustainable financial growth indicators and create awareness among officials and staff on them.


Complete one lakh working days in MGNREGS
Further, reviewing MGNREGS, he said that each district should complete one lakh working days in two months so that the target of providing 26 crore working days would be reached. He said to focus on material component expenditure in the coming two months.
On the welfare schemes, the Chief Minister mentioned that Jagananna Chedodu scheme will be launched on February 8, Input subsidy on February 15, Jagananna Thodu on February 22, Vidya Deevena on March 8 and Vasati Devena on March 22.
Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Chief Secretary Dr Sameer Sharma, DGP Goutam Sawang, Principal Secretaries of various departments and other officials were present.
