A Case of a Young Successful Graphic Designer from Hyderabad
Ajinkya Sanjay Manathkar born in 1992 in Nanded, Maharashtra is a successful graphic designer as well as an artist. Presently he is living in Hyderabad and is a permanent resident of this beautiful city staying at Libdom Villa (Raj Reddy Valley), Bandlaguda Jagir, Hyderabad, a gated community that is spread over to an area of 17 acres of land having all facilities – indoor and outdoor games, gym, park, swimming pool, function hall, etc. Altogether 190 families ( a few might be unoccupied) hailing from different parts of India live in this gated community), representing a mini India in the true sense and residents celebrate all festivals amicably as residents belong to different religions and castes. I am also a permanent resident of this gated community and remember Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s poem “Where The Mind Is Without Fear” from this poem as in this gated community we all live blissfully and without any fear. And irrespective of age or gender we share our knowledge.

Anyway, this young man, Ajinkya is now in the news because of his creativity. After completing his 12th standard, his father (a medical doctor now retired) insisted that he should join the engineering course, but Ajinkya was more interested in designing fields and art. Anyway, he could not succeed in engineering and by convincing his parents he took admission in animation school in 2011. Presently, he is a successful graphic designer as well as an artist. From the internet time to time gathering knowledge for new and innovative art forms. In his school days, his drawing or craft was highly appreciated and when he was in ninth standard, one New Delhi-based organisation, organized a competition and he was awarded a gold medal.
He has been doing many art forms such as micro art (carving on pencil lead), chalk carving, crayon carving, soap carving, painting, sculpting, stone carving, rangoli, etc. In 2018, he created a world record by making “Shiva Linga” on pencil lead. The size of the ‘Linga’ was five millimeters in length and four millimeters in width which took around three hours. Further, he carved many logos, brand names, people names, and objects on pencil lead, etc. Also, he carved Bhagwan Ganesha, Bhagwan Shiva, the Eiffel Tower, and many things on chalk pieces. Moreover, he tried crayons as a medium for carving many objects. Nowadays he is more interested in making cement planters and paper cutting because he would like to explore all the art forms. It is pertinent to mention that for his creative activities, and prowess in crafts he has been awarded many certificates and prizes. For his creativity, he has been getting invitations from various organisations and reputed personalities. His wife Nikita Ajinkya Manathkar (married in 2020), a homeopathic doctor by profession is his source of inspiration, and each and every moment helps him to carry out Ajinkya’s activities without any grumble.
