An interesting book titled “The Right Time” (2025) by Ramakrishna Dhulipudi was published in 2025. The book is available on Amazon. Ramakrishna Garu is endowed with many qualities, but his main areas of attraction are film direction and storytelling. His endeavour to publish the novel “The Right Time” is an asset to the readers. There are altogether 10 chapters in this volume.

The Right Time is a contemporary romantic drama that explores love, sacrifice, and destiny across two decades.

Karthik is the male key figure in this volume. He loses his parents at the age of four and is adopted by retired Major Nachappa, who raises him on a coffee estate in Chikmagalur, Karnataka. Growing up under Nachappa’s disciplined yet loving guidance, Karthik matures into an adventurous young man. During his youth, Aarohi, the daughter of a wealthy businessman (the female figure), meets Karthik and gradually falls in love with him. Their relationship deepens, and Aarohi becomes a part of Nachappa’s life as well.

However, their love faces an unexpected obstacle when Aarohi’s father confronts Karthik, warning him that his daughter deserves a larger world than the life he can offer. Believing that love should never stand against parental wishes. No boundary can be drawn because of any issue; Karthik quietly sacrifices his relationship and leaves town to join the Indian Military Academy.

While Aarohi moves to the United States to pursue an MBA at Harvard and builds a successful corporate career, Karthik dedicates himself to the Indian Army and eventually becomes a decorated officer who serves in the Kargil conflict.

Years later, Nachappa’s death reunites them after more than two decades of separation. As they fulfill Nachappa’s final wish to immerse his ashes in the sacred Ganga at Haridwar, long-buried truths come to light. Aarohi learns the real reason for Karthik’s disappearance, and her father eventually comes to understand the depth of Karthik’s character and sacrifice.

It is worth noting that the author has not presented many characters, either male or female. Among the few characters, as mentioned earlier, one is Aarohi’s cousin, Nidhi (female), who was curious to learn about the handsome youth (Karthik). And to make the love story interesting, Nidhi has referred to the mythological love story “Pravarakhua,” which tells of a youth who went to the Himalaya, where he was pursued by a Gandharva girl, namely Varudhini.

In the end, the lovers find their way back to each other, discovering that true love, guided by destiny, always returns—when the time is right.

The Right Time beautifully combines romance, destiny, family values, and patriotism into a deeply emotional story. Karthik and Aarohi’s journey is inspiring, and the relationship between Karthik and Nachappa adds incredible emotional strength to the narrative. The storytelling feels cinematic, and the spiritual ending makes the story even more powerful.

This book is definitely worth reading if anyone is interested in meaningful love stories with strong characters. So, readers can be interested in reading the same.
