CM Revanth Reddy addresses a public meeting – “Praja Palana – Pragathi Bata” at Choppadandi
Karimnagar, February 05: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy fired a salvo at BJP and BRS on maintaining a secret ‘ fevicol bond’ and ignoring deliberately the state government’s request to approve several big development projects including national project status to Palamuru Rangareddy lift project and funds to Musi project and Metro rail phase -2. The Chief minister took a strong dig at the Prime minister Narendra Modi for not accepting the state request to order the CBI probe into the Kaleshwaram scam and further investigation into the formula e scam. The CM dared the union minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay to order the CBI probe and arrest former Chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the Kaleshwaram scam.

Addressing a public meeting in Choppadanti today , CM Revanth Reddy noted that the state government adopted a resolution in the Assembly and sent it to the Centre requesting a CBI probe into Kaleshwaram. The Chief minister questioned for not taking any action even after 6 months. It was PM Modi who commented that Kaleshwaram has become an ATM for KCR. Why was an action not initiated by ordering a CBI inquiry till the date?. The government also wrote a letter seeking permission for an inquiry against an IAS officer in the Formula E race case, but there has been no response yet. “ The BJP and BRS are engaging in collusive politics to weaken the Congress”, the CM charged.

Continuing tirade against the BJP, the CM dared Bandi Sanjay to convince Modi for a CBI probe in Kaleshwaram scam and arrest KCR. The Chief minister suggested that the union minister stop ranting against the state government and instead show political vigour by getting huge central funds for the development of Karimnagar municipality.

CM Revanth Reddy also nailed BJP national President Nitin Nabin for not uttering a single word about the sanction of national project status to the Palamuru project during his visit to Mahabubnagar. PM Modi made the promise of the Palamuru-Rangareddy project as a national project during his visit but no positive response from the center till the date. The BJP president also did not speak about the second phase of the Metro rail Kaleshwaram investigation and funds for the Musi river development project.

The chief minister dared the BJP and BRS for a debate on the development taking place in the Telangana during the 10 year BRS rule, 12 year BJP regime at the centre and 2 years of the People’s government in the state. The CM alleged that the BRS extended help to the BJP to win 8 MP seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

In a vitriolic attack on KCR, CM Revanth Reddy said that Telangana plunged into a deep financial crisis due to mounting debts through huge borrowings during the BRS rule in the state. Now, KCR is confined to his farm house. The CM wondered if the BRS Chief, KTR and Harish Rao had no time even to visit Medaram to offer prayers to the Tribal deities. The BRS leaders should feel ashamed for not worshipping the deities of the poor.
The Chief minister highlighted Sonia Gandhi promised from the soil of Karimnagar that a separate Telangana state would be formed. Despite facing many obstacles and losing everything, Sonia Gandhi fulfilled her promise and formed Telangana. The CM criticized the BRS for not developing the state except looting during 10 year rule in the state.

The previous government deceived people in the name of double-bedroom houses to the poor, CM Revanth Reddy said the people’s government was providing Indiramma houses, free power to farmers , enhanced Rajiv Aarogyasri scheme limit to Rs 10 lakhs, providing fine rice, free travel for women in RTC buses. We filled 70,000 jobs for the unemployed , building Young India Residential Schools in 100 constituencies, increased cosmetic and diet charges for hostel students, waived loans of Rs. 2 lakhs for 25.35 lakh farmers, provided Rs. 9,000 crores under Rythu Bharosa in just 9 days, spent Rs. 1 lakh crore in two years for farmers and provided a bonus of Rs. 500 per quintal for fine variety paddy to the farmers.

The Chief Minister alleged that the BRS leaders took commissions in the saree distribution scheme. My government spent ₹9,000 crore in two years to provide free travel facilities for women on RTC buses and also ₹27 crore loans to women, encouraging them in business. We have made women the owners of RTC buses.

The Chief minister announced that the government will develop the temples along the Godavari river basin from Basara to Bhadrachalam ahead of Godavari pushkaralu -2027. Eco-tourism projects would also be taken up to transform the region into a major tourist destination.

Calling on people to give a big mandate to Congress in the municipal elections and the congress workers should also not let the BJP win even a single seat in the municipal elections, the CM said reiterated that the Congress will rule the state for another 8 years despite the opposition was creating hurdles. “We will transform Telangana into the number one state in the country”, the Chief Minister said that an outer ring road will be developed for Karimnagar and also develop Warangal and Karimnagar as twin cities, establish a dump yard between the two cities and generate electricity.
