COVID-19: Modi applauds children’s eagerness to be vaccinated

India has administered over 3.5 crore initial doses of the Covaxin vaccine to youngsters aged 15 to 18. The first phase of the immunisation campaign for this age group is likely to be finished by the end of this month.

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision on December 25 last year, the government began vaccinating youngsters between the ages of 15 and 18 on January 3, 2022.
